Temperature stability
Good temperature stability with low evaporation loss at high temperatures.
Fernihough Lubricants
Severn Valley Fasteners is the sole UK supplier of Fernihough Non-Carbonizing Super Oven Chain Lubricant, a synthetic chain lubricant specifically blended for the powder coating industry and other demanding high-temperature applications.

High-temperature performance
Based on a mixture of synthetic hydrocarbons and diester fluids, the lubricant combines high-temperature stability with low volatility for oven chains and other industrial equipment. Severn Valley Fasteners notes that this well-regarded high-temperature lubricant has been in use for over twenty years across industries including powder coating.
Good temperature stability with low evaporation loss at high temperatures.
Good wear protection and high load-carrying properties for chains, gears and bearings.
Excellent creeping characteristics help the lubricant work through moving chain systems.
Appropriate ageing and oxidation stability, with high flash and burning points.
Compatible with seals and O-rings and suitable for long-time lubrication.
Self-acting chain cleaning plus protection against rust and friction corrosion while retaining anti-friction properties.
Applications
The Fernihough technical data sheet specifies the lubricant for high-temperature chains and for chains, gears and bearings operating in extreme or unfavourable conditions.
